Solving problems is at the heart of my work.
My expertise is in ferreting out problems that patients often do not recognize or cannot articulate. When someone’s fatigue from computer work or discomfort with contact lenses is resolved, everyone is pleased. Diagnosing a vision-threatening condition, like glaucoma or a retinal detachment, is even more gratifying.
Before becoming an optometrist, I worked in other fields, including construction and live theater. I even owned a restaurant in Coral Gables for five years.
Connecting with people, making projections, generating profits and, most of all, finding solutions to problems are the skills that distinguish me in my work.
